DOG HANDLING AUCKLAND TRAINING FACILITY
Our hands-on practical training takes place at our dedicated 100-acre Training Grounds an hour north of Auckland, giving dogs and handlers the space they need to learn real-world skills in a natural setting. For selected classroom sessions and workshops, we welcome students to our Grey Lynn, Auckland location. Together with our blended online modules, you’ll gain both the practical expertise and theoretical knowledge to excel as a professional dog handler.
“I’ve made so many lifelong connections here. I felt respected, valued, and closely supported.”

She’s patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her passion for working with dogs and teaching others really shines through, and it genuinely inspires you to develop that same passion yourself.”

“I loved how simple it was. Full of knowledge specifically key areas of what is required for our job. Learning made simple and easy, you aren’t overloaded with information, and being able to put our knowledge to the test through quizzes and practically. Kat is an amazing teacher. For someone who is a visual learner, Kat provided demonstrations as well as examples/ experiences of each topic which allowed the course to feel personable”

“What I really loved about the course was the mix of theory and practical learning. We’d go through detailed explanations of different handling styles and animal behaviours, then immediately head out and put it into practice with the dogs. Having Kat there to guide us and make corrections on the spot was incredibly helpful and made the learning really stick.”
